Wordless Wednesday

This is how we crawl...

Sometimes, I look like mama.

Sometimes, I look like dada.

Ut oh!

We have a crawler! After Lily and I got home from watching the baseball and softball games at OM, she decided to crawl across the floor! She has been close for a few days now, so we were expecting something soon. Today she leaned over and did it. I am so proud of my little Bean! She was smiling all over herself. The funniest thing is, she crawls with one leg under her, and the other sticking it. It is so stinking cute!

9 months old

Bean is 9 months old today! She is tipping the scales at 19 lbs. 8 oz. and is growing upwards like a weed- she is 29 inches tall!

At nine months old, Bean loves....
1. Puffs. Can't get enough of them.
2. Yogurt. She can pack the yogurt away.
3. Making as many funny noises as she can.
4. Saying Dadadadada
5. Standing. Absolutely loves it.
6. Pulling herself up on things.
7. Basically any electronic device.
8. Pulling her socks off and sucking her toes.
9. Going "Lily is SO big!"
10. Mama and Dada

Big Weekend

Quick post because it's getting a bit late...but...Lily had a huge weekend! She got up on all fours multiple times, and then she crawled two crawls (if that makes sense, meaning, she moved forward about two "steps")! When I asked her to say "dog" I am pretty sure (like 95% sure) she said "og" back, and she started pulling herself along the sofa. She also sat up in her crib all on her own, and even waved at Tom when he went to check on her. Why not conquer every milestone at once?
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Not so wordless Wednesday...

What amazing weather we are having! A nice little string of 80 degree days in March has made for a happy momma. Lily is doing wonderfully. She is the happiest, funniest, cutest little girl (no bias or anything...). She is doing something new every single day. She still isn't mobile, at least she isn't crawling. She is still spinning around on her tummy, working on pulling up, and sometimes scooting on her butt. She does try to move around, and gets quite frustrated when she can't. She seems to be a bit stubborn and has a little temper (can't imagine where she gets those traits from...). Her little face gets VERY red when she is angry. She also LOVES to talk and babble. I love driving with her in the car because she talks to me the whole ride. It is awesome. We can have a whole conversation on the ride home from work! She also sings along with the radio, which is very cute.

Hmmm this chair looks like a fun thing to climb on...

SO BIG!

Uhhh...Fred? What are you doing?

Wordless Wednesday- Kind of...

Apparently, I can't even be wordless in a wordless blog post...but Lily said "dada" today and tried to put her pacifier in my mouth, which was pretty funny. Here is the wordlessness of my post...nakey baby!

Standing!

Well, today was a big day for little Bean. This morning, while we were playing, she turns herself toward me, leans forward, pulls on my leg, pulls up to my shirt, and pulls herself to her feet! She actually pulled herself to stand! I was so surprised. My little girl who rarely rolls over, has shown little interest in learning to crawl, pulled herself up. Then, in the bathtub (she bathes in a smaller, inflatable tub that sits in the regular one) she kept trying to pull up on the ledge and stand. She actually pulled herself up into a split, realized she couldn't get all the way up the way she get herself and freaked out a little. Either way, she is working hard to stand, which is awesome.

Mom, I just need to check my facebook.

We also went to Averi's 3rd birthday party today. We had a very nice time. Lily got to see her BFF, Nakenzi, and we even got pictures of the girls (and no one is crying!).

My little cheeser. Notice, Averi and Lily are holding hands.

After Averi's party, we went to El Nayar for my dad's birthday. Lily got to sit in the restaurant highchair for the first time, and she loved it. She ate her dinner while we ate and was so well behaved. She really liked being nosey and watching the people at other tables. The other patrons happily played peek-a-boo and made faces at her, which she thought was great.

I need food!
I love sitting here!
